Years of work down the drain.

Yesterday, I re-installed windows on my computer, and since I have 6 hard drives, I accidentally erased the wrong one.

The erased content? All of my photography since about 1999. Hundreds of thousands of pictures.

Every photo I have ever taken. Gone.

My first pinhole experiments, my disposable camera pics, photography class pics, family pics, water/light experiments, IR exposures. Oh ya, and all of my writing is gone as well. Oh and music. It has been a rough year so far.

And all that holiday stuff. I wish everyone a fun safe holiday!

Think anyone is truly happy? Are we, as humans constantly trying to make it through the days striving for some form of change or something new just to keep our brains satisfied? I think i'm a realist for the most part (maybe just negative). What do you think, does true happiness exist?
